I've been kind of inactive lately :> I miss being able to sit and draw all day and then post all my art on here. It's taken me weeeeks to get through with one drawing, working on it in tiny little chunks between school, sleep, and studying. Le sigh.

I forgot how much having your taste in music insulted sucks. Yesterday in chem, my boyfriend was looking through all the artists on my iPod, and this kid looks over his shoulder and goes "Ew! All she likes is that stupid metal shit! That stuff suckssssss!" I'm sure it's better than whatever you listen to, broski.

I can't wait for summer to come. It's been said a million times before,but I really mean it. It's so close that I can taste it and I just have so much fun stuff to look forward to, like seeing Motley and Ppison with Sam and her coming to my city and us palling around for a few days and then me going to California in July and hnnnnnng. This is gonna be the funnest summer of mah laif.

I have a feeling that someone somewhere is like "AHJBGADFH HOW CAN YOU CALL YOURSELF A GUNS N' ROSES FAN AND CALL SWEET CHILD YOUR FAVORITE SONG? YOU'VE PROLLY NEVER HEARD THEIR WHOLE CATALOUGE ADHFGTEQA."So here's my explanation~ I just think that Sweet Child is beautifully crafted song. It's my second favorite Guns ballad, and I love how the whole song is put together. The main riff is one of the greatest riffs ever played, and the rhythm guitar and bass parts are amazing, too. Axl's lyrics are gorgeous and poetic, and I think the whole "Where do we go, now?" breakdown is genius. Overall, I love this song because it shows how multifaceted Guns was. They could craft loud fast songs and love ballads that were just as good.

It makes my smile I love the beat of the song, and Florence Welch's voice is amaaaaazing. Listening to this song makes me want to yell out to the world to be happy, because brighter days are ahead.

One of the only songs that's ever made me cry. I first heard it when I was going through a pretty hard time, and it described pretty accurately how I felt about losing a friend. Axl's voice is filled with so much longing in this song, and that's what still tugs at my heart strings.

This song makes me think of the Kiss concert I went to in 2009, which was one of the greatest things ever. During the concert, Paul Stanley flew across the crowd and landed in this little platform that was about 200 or 300 feet away from me, and this is one of the songs they played while he was on the platform. I was just staring at him through the whole song, amazed that such an awesome person was so close to me.
